Life After Lily: Glasnost

One of our old seamstresses/designers/shop girls dropped into the Vancouver shop today. Many of you will be reading this wearing one of her post-Lily creations, the Glasnost Top. They were a staple of ours for the last couple of years (I have 3!).

Stephanie has now created an awesome new oil-cloth raincoat. Made to be the perfect wet weather bike riding coat, it has a cool swing-coat feel and interesting details; like dolman sleeves, adjustable flap pockets and a detachable hood. The body of the coat is cut out in one piece (a giant circle) so there are no top seams. Perfect for rainy days. See how cute it is here in photos, or check it out in person at the One Of A Kind show this weekend (December 9th through 12th) at the new Vancouver Convention Center.

This is a brand-spanking-new design, available only through Stephanie at the One Of A Kind show (at the VCC booth), or via her website glasnost.ca, but we felt compelled to show you designs by our alumni. Isn't she smart?!! We are so proud.
