Studio Update: The 113 is back. Kinda.

Okay, don't freak out. It's okay. Breathe. Calm. Phew.

Yes, so the most amazing coat that we've ever made is back for a limited time. Well maybe it's the most amazing. Everything here is really truly quite amazing. No one is actually counting. I don't think. Some people might be?

The 113 was known for its slimming line, cool pockets, high collar and all over print. The new version The 114 (Ooooooer, we're original eh?) is made of a more cold weather appropriate thick cashmere wool, has exterior patch pockets with leather flap. You can access these babies from two different angles. Yeah, dual pocket action. Keep your stuff up top and your hands down below! The collar and cuffs are silk screened for your pleasure, and for sitting comfort we've included a two way zipper.

Please laugh at us below as we model for you this lovely new garment.

Victoria Shop Update: New Nightingale Capelet!

Channel your inner Florence with our brand new Nightingale Wool Capelet!

Perfect for the newly crisp fall weather, and coming winter season. The Nightingale fits perfectly over any Smoking Lily frock, shirt, sweater, or t-shirt for added coziness and comfort. I'd like to think of it as what little red riding hood would wear to frolic through the urban forests in search of a cocktail(minus the big bad wolf!).

Available in all Smoking Lily shops this week.

What's new

Korinne and Nicole were busy today making a new shirt for the fall.  It is made from machine washed merino wool and has Japanese cotton elbow patches. We are doing it in soft grey or teal. Very cozy for those cool fall days that don't seem to becoming this year.  Rachael redesigned the Elle Mariachi top this morning and looks great over top the long sleeve tee.    Aiko is busy cutting them out as I type and should be in the shops by next week.

Cozy Feet

Just in time for Christmas, we’ve come up with the cutest slippers ever! Made of thick wool and lined with fleece, these little booties are unique in that they are made of one peice of fabric! This makes for a very cool design with minimal seams and a fancy side detail. Each pair is hand appliqueed and printed on the inside. So far there are just the three designs but there are more colours of wool coming. At the moment they fit everyone in the studio size 7 1/2 to 9. Not to worry though, we have a smaller pattern in the works!
