Victoria Shops: Johnson Street Fest

We had such a great time last Saturday at Johnson St fest, I have to share a few photos. If you missed it this year, mark it on your calendars for next year - discounts at smoking lily, cotton candy and tiny donuts! Could you wish for more on a Saturday afternoon?? Oh and all the money raised for the event went towards 'Make a Wish' foundation. Great event- great cause.

Johnson St. Fest for a great cause

We had so much fun at the Johnson Street Fest last year that we are doing it again this Saturday, August 27th.

Lower Johnson St. boutiques are raising money for the Make A Wish foundation. Always a great cause! There are a few ways that you can donate this Saturday:

* The boutiques will be selling "wish stars" at $2 each, the street's goal is to sell 2500! Just go into any shop along the 500 to 600 blocks of Johnson Street to purchase them.

* I heard today that our Mayor is going to auction off the use of his parking spot for one week and that Kuba Oms will be taking his turn at the dunk tank!

* Smoking Lily will have a "Guidance Booth", where, for a donation, we will help point you in the right direction in life, love, work, or maybe just where to get a good cup of coffee.
