Vancouver Update: Summer Fabrics

Mmmm, the warm days of summer have finally hit. When I stepped outside to take photos of new items that arrived in Vancouver today, the sun was wonderfully warm but exceptionally bright, so I shot the garments in the shade of a small tree in front of the shop.

Here is the Lucrezia Dress in a cute lightweight cotton plaid, with an Engineer striped sash. It has that great feminine style with masculine fabrics dichotomy that I always find appealing.

The latest Mt. Pleasant fabric is an acidy yellow/chartreuse. A great fresh summer punch of colour.

Victoria Stores Update: Bamboo Pyatt Tunic and Turquoise Mt. Pleasant

This week in the stores we have some great new colours and fabrics in the Pyatt Tunic and the Mt. Pleasant top.

The Pyatt Tunic is now available in Clay in 100% Bamboo. Perfect for layering, this fabric is like nothing else. The taffetta like material is silky smooth with a shiny finish and crisp texture, breathable and light as air. The tunic features a front-back reversible scoop neckline and pockets with a print.

We also have a new colour in the Mt. Pleasant top as well this week. Featuring an all-over repeating Canoe print, this Turquoise top is perfect for wearing if you're going out on the water to do a little paddling.

Victoria Update: New Fabrics

Yay! New Fabrics!

That's right, new summer fabric colours are in. This new rayon (from bamboo)/cotton/Lycra fabric is perfect for summer, cool and breathable.

Bright Blue and Mustard Mt. Pleasant tops coming soon!

Our lovely Liz is already hard at work printing.

Mmmmocha Garden State dresses will perfect for wandering in the park, or picnicking at the beach.

Summer is here!

Vancouver Update Part II!

Hello Vancouver! As promised yesterday, here are some quick (really quick--sorry!) snaps of some of the awesome new things we have in the shop now:

The English Bay Dress in a new, smaller size (x-sm, $62)

The fabulous Mt. Pleasant Top (sm-xlg, $85)! I hear rumours there will soon be an olive colour to go along with the mauve pictured below. (I also hear that the powder blue is almost gone.)

Cute new kid's leggings (sizes 2, 4, and 6, $21)

New pillow case sets with fun new prints and colours ($58/set).

Ivanhoe Bag ($220) with bullets and flowers...hee hee...

New Dingle Ball Pillow with a giant beetle and little foxes running riot ($54).

And last, but not least, we finally have some new colours for the men's tees! The colours turned out kind of crummy in my photo (don't tell Glenda, she hates it when the colours are off!), but they include a bright fushcia, dark grey, light blue, and and olive-y green. Awesome! So far we've just ordered in medium and large sizes--the most popular--to test the waters, but if they're a hit you can expect to see them in small and extra large, too. ($34)
